Impact of Weather Events on Population Health and Economic Losses: An Analysis of NOAA’s Storm Events Database

The goal is to explore the Storm Database from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and answer some basic questions about severe weather events. The data analysis addresses the following questions:

1, Across the United States, which types of events are most harmful with respective to population health?

2. Across the United States, which types of events have the greatest economic consequences?
